1.0 Overview

This product is a newly developed electric respirator of our company, featuring advanced design, small size, compact design and advanced configuration. Its rated air supply volume is 60-110 L/min.The respirator is with a three-pot structure design and it is also equipped with rechargeable lithium battery, making it an ideal breathing apparatus with high efficiency, energy saving, good stability, high safe and reliability.
The long tube supplied air respirator is widely used by emergency rescue, disaster relief workers or operation personnel in petroleum, chemical industry, ship, smelting, coal gas, cold storage, urban construction, laboratory and other sectors, to perform safe and effective rescue, disaster relief and production operations in smoke, steam dust, harmful gas or oxygen-deficient environments.

The product is composed of a rechargeable lithium battery electric blower as the air source, a corrugated hose and a full face mask, connecting with filter cartridge to meet people's breathing needs.

2.0 Structure and working principle

2.1 Overall structure

The overall structure of the electric blower is shown in Figure 2

2.2 Working principle

With a compact rechargeable lithium battery electric blower, it provides sufficient air supply and pressure, which can pass through the filter cartridge set and supply air over through the corrugated hose, featuring small resistance and providing comfortable breathing.

3.0 Main Functions and Parameters

  2. At the medium-level air supply: 6hours

4.0 Operation instruction

4.1 Inspection and assembly before use

4.1.1 Packaging inspection

The electric fan should be checked before use:

Open the box and check whether the power button is normal;
Whether the gasket at the interface of the filter tank is equipped;
Whether the supply air pipe is damaged.
 

4.1.2 Assemble

Take out the electric blower. Install the canister to the canister interface and screw it into place.

4.2 Wear and remove of PAPR

4.2.1 Wearing steps

Check the wearing steps in Figure3.
(1) Connect the end of the air supply pipe with the mask interface to the mask, and tighten it into place
(2) Insert the end with the air supply connector into the air blower
(3) Fix the blower through the waist pad and insert the buckle
(4) Press and hold the power button for 3s to boot. It is the lowest gear when starting up, and the gear position is adjustable;

Check the removing steps in Figure 4.:
  1. Press and hold the power button for 3s to turn off. The power light is still on when shutting down, so as to indicate the power, and the gear light is off;
  2. Remove the back socket and remove the blower
  3. Unplug the air supply port from the air blower.

4.3 Operation Steps

4.3.1

The operation interface has one button and four indicators. Buttons are used for switch and blower levels adjustment. Indicator lights respectively indicate power and blower levels.

4.3.2

Press and hold the button for 3 seconds to turn on the blower. Short press the button after booting to adjust the blower levels from lowest-level to medium level and to the highest level. The levels of the blower is indicated on the figure (5). No matter what level of the blower you are in, just press and hold for 3 seconds to shut down.

 

4.3.3

The battery indicator light is,

  1. Green: the battery of 75%-100%;
  2. Yelow: the battery of 50%-75%;
  3. Red:the battery of 25%-50%;
  4. Red ight flashes: the battery of 0%-25%.
 

4.3.4

Charge of the PAPR

To protect the battery, the blower must be turned off when charging. Turn off the charge before turning the blower on.

NOTE: When charging, the green light of the blower means charging is up to 75%-100%. It DOES NOT mean fully charged. Only when the red light of the charger changes to be green light, which means that the blower is fully charged.

 

 

5.0 Package

The electric blower is packed in a packaging box. Each box contains:

6.0 Repair and Maintenance

6.1 Common failure analysis and trouble-shooting are shown in table 2.

If the parts of the electric blower are damaged, they should be replaced in time.

6.2 Maintenance

The blower should be kept clean. After each use, it should be cleaned and maintained.
When cleaning, first remove the canister and install the plug; then wipe the blower with a cotton ball dipped in alcohol.
When performing mask maintenance in winter, you should choose a site with a suitable temperature.
When the blower is not in use, it should be charged at least once within 30 days, and not less than 3h once.

7.0 Transportation and storage

 

7.1 Transportation

During transportation, the operation shall be carried out in strict accordance with the transportation signs on the packing box; it is strictly forbidden to ship with flammable, explosive, and corrosive materials in the same vehicle; railway transportation shall use boxcars, and tarpaulin shall be added during road transportation. It is strictly forbidden to hit or throw the packing box during loading and unloading.

7.2 Storage

Different batches of electric fan products should be placed separately, neatly stacked in the warehouse.
It is not allowed to be stored in the same stock as flammable, explosive and corrosive materials.
The distance between rows shall not be less than 0.75m; the distance to the wall shall be more than 1m, and the height above the ground shall be more than 0.2m.
Mask storage atmospheric conditions:
(A) The temperature is below 30 ºC;
(B) Ensure a dry environment.

8.0 Other

When the electric air supply is left unused for long time, it should be placed in the packaging box for reuse next time.
