       Class 1 chemical protective clothing (heavy chemical protective clothing) is the protective clothing worn by firefighters when they carry out fire fighting and rescue in fire or accident scene caused by chemical dangerous or corrosive materials. The garment is made of modified pvc double-sided coated fabric. Not only has anti-acid, alkali, phosphorus, sulfur and other toxic and harmful gases, liquids and other properties, but also has good flame retardant performance and strong performance. The technical indicators of the suit all meet the requirements of Q/02MKF001-2005 standard, and have passed the product type inspection by the National Fire Equipment Quality Supervision and Inspection Center.


1. Structure  
1.1 One-piece fully enclosed structure, Internal breathing apparatus set, ventilation valve (exhaust) of chemical protective clothing is positive pressure type, firm seams, and connected  with the double-sided hot-melt joints, face screen is made of hard and transparent material.

Gloves are detachably connected by snap ring, which will enable to ensure air tightness and easy to replace.


1.3 All sewing seams are sealed with internal and external sealing strips. All these ensure the sealing performance of the garment.

1.4 The full suit kit is composed of a large field of view one-piece hood, a respirator backpack, chemical protective gloves, chemical protective rubber boots (steel toe cap, steel bottom plate, anti-smash and anti-puncture), sealed zipper, overpressure exhaust system, etc., which will use with face mask and air breathing apparatus.

1. Overall airtight performance: 800pa/4min, air pressure drop

2. Main component performance:
Overpressure exhaust valve performance: air tightness ≥15s,
ventilation resistance 78∽118pa.
Anti-chemical rubber boots meet the requirements of
GA6-2004 standard.
3. Fabric properties
Fabric thickness: 0.45mm ± 0.5mm.
The warp and weft breaking strength is ≥400N, and the tearing
strength is ≥32N.
Anti-acid permeability: 80% H2SO4, 60% HNO3, 30% HCL
three acids 10mm liquid column for 1h impermeability.
Anti-alkali penetration performance: 6.1mol/LnaOH, 10h liquid
injection for 1h impermeability.
Heat aging resistance: 125 ° C × 2 h is not sticky, not brittle.
Cold resistance: -15 ° C × 5 min, folded 180 degrees without
cracks.
Gasoline resistance: dip 120 = gasoline 30s, no cracks, no
stickiness.
Flame retardant performance: continuous burning time ≤ 5s;
smoldering time ≤ 10s; damage length ≤ 10cm.
Breaking strength: warp and weft direction ≥450N.
Puncture resistance of the sole: ≥900N.
Electrical insulation performance of the sole: ≥5000V.
Anti-smashing performance of the boot: After the impact test,
the gap height is ≥15mm.
Three acids are impermeable for 1hour under 10mm liquid column.

alkali penetration resistance: 6.1mol/lnaoh, impervious for 1hour under 10mm liquid injection.

heat aging resistance: 125 ºC × 2hours non stick and non brittle.

cold resistance: - 15 ºC × 5 min, fold 180 degrees without cracks.

gasoline resistance: immerse 120 = gasoline for 30s, without crack and sticking.

flame retardant performance: afterburning time ≤ 5S; Smoldering time ≤ 10s; Damage length ≤ 10cm.

puncture resistance of sole: ≥ 900N.

electrical insulation performance of shoe sole: ≥ 5000v.

anti smashing performance of boot head: after impact test, the gap height is ≥ 15mm.

IV. instructions for use

1. Method of use

fully sealed chemical protective clothing must be used together with helmet and air respirator.

2. Wearing of chemical protective clothing:

fully open the zipper of the chemical resistant clothing and put your feet into the rubber boots.

wear the air respirator, hang the mask on the neck, extend the right arm into the sleeve, bend over and pull the upper left part of the chemical protective clothing with your left hand, put the air respirator into the air respirator backpack of the chemical protective clothing, and then extend your left hand into the left sleeve.

wear masks and helmets, lower your head, wear the one-piece hood of chemical protective clothing, and pull the chain.

note: do not use too much force when wearing.

3. Precautions:

be extremely careful when contacting with liquid chemicals with low temperature, such as chlorine, ammonia, hydrochloric acid or sulfur dioxide, because there is a risk of frostbite and embrittlement of chemical protective clothing.

in case of strong thermal radiation, chemical protective clothing should be used together with thermal insulation clothing.

when used in dangerous places such as pressure, temperature and blowout caused by pipeline leakage, relevant auxiliary facilities shall be provided to protect the rescue personnel.

4. Cleaning method:

do not take off the chemical protective clothing before cleaning and decontamination.

after being far away from the dangerous area, if there is any pollution, it shall be immediately and thoroughly washed with water.

pull down the zipper, take off the sleeves, hood and boots

cleaning of pollution chemical protective clothing: wash with warm water. For oil or other pollutants, wash with alcohol and then wash with warm water, and then dry the chemical protective clothing (not directly exposed to the sun). After 2-3 days of continuous exposure, ensure that the chemical substances remaining on the surface of the chemical protective clothing are evaporated and removed.

after drying, the chemical protective clothing needs visual inspection and air tightness test. After passing the test, the chemical protective clothing needs to be oiled with appropriate oil (including zipper). Then fold the chemical protective clothing and put it into the packing box for next use.


V. maintenance and storage

1 check

1.1 overall appearance

check the clothing surface for scratches, holes, delamination, cloth exposure, etc.
Rubber boots: whether there is scratch, void, glue failure, etc.

gloves: whether there are scratches, holes and other damage.

1.2 replace gloves

replace the gloves immediately in case of damage.

loosen the clip of the glove clip, remove the damaged glove from the sleeve ring, replace it with the novice sleeve and clamp it with the clip. The clip must firmly clamp the glove to make it airtight.

2 storage

the storage temperature is - 10 ºC± 40 ºC, the relative humidity is no more than 75%, the ventilation is good and away from the heat source.

avoid exposure to the sun and rain, prevent contact with acid-base, organic solvents and other substances affecting their quality, and do not collide with sharp substances.

storage life: two years.

DANGER:

1. This chemical protective clothing is not suitable for use in the presence of toxic gases, especially in the presence of armed force agents and toxic gases!
2. The chemical protection suit is mainly used in the case of acid and alkali chemical substances splashing, strictly prohibited in the chemical liquid pool, tank operation!
