Lithium Battery Operated Radon Gas Detector for Home safety
Introduction
Radon is a naturally occurring radioactive gas released from the ground that can enter buildings and accumulate to high levels. As long-term exposure to elevated levels of radon can cause lung cancer, it is important to know whether a building's occupants are being exposed to unacceptably high levels of radon.
Radon monitor are pleased to offer our customers a wide range of options for testing buildings for radon, with the latest of these being the digital radon monitor.
Radon monitor provides a digital readout of the levels on an easy-to-read screen. The device displays the average radon level over the last 24 hours, 7 days and 365 days.
Accurate readings are produced after 24 hours of operation, and there is a reset button that can be used should you wish to move the device to a different room or property and restart the monitoring.
The slim, lightweight design coupled with the rechargeable lithium battery operation enables the device to be placed wherever it is required with no cables needed.
Ideal for use in homes or workplaces, the radon monitor is an affordable way of monitoring radon levels to ensure a healthy environment.
1. Indicator for battery level. The batteries need to be recharged when it indicate low battery.
2. 'LONG TERM AVERAGE' long term average measurement mode.
3. 'SHORT TERM AVERAGE', short term average measurement mode.
4. Measurement period for short term average. Alternates between 1 and 7 days.
5. 'RUN' indicator for measurement. The unit is active when this is flashing. It indicate "STOP" when unit is stop and indicate"ERROR" when unit is failed.
6. 'power' button for resetting and turn on/off THE UNIT.
-Press the button continuously for 3 times when a new measurement period starts. Deletes all stored data from earlier measurement.
-Keep pressing button for more than 6 seconds to turn on the unit... Also you can press button for more than 6 seconds to turn off the unit
7. The coefficient of injury +1 when short term average increase each 25BQ/M3, total 10, it mean Max measurement range will be 250BQ/M3.
And the 'WARNING' indicator will flash when more than 5 (100bq/m3), also the flash frequency become more and more fast with the increasing coefficient of injury.
